  • Well, now! A brighter outlook! How about that!I drove on Friday, and I think I can say for the first time, had a really good time! It was fun! I was captain of the ship, and I didn't hit anything or anybody, and I obeyed the rules, and I got the job done! A pretty satisfying day, all told! And a beautfiul one, too! The weather was just great!

    Saturday was kind of a wash with Bad Cold Revisited, and it's still lingering in my voice. (Can't you hear it when I type? Oh...no?) I get to play this morning, and then have some stuff to do around here, but it is not a stress day. I don't work tomorrow, then I work a little on Tuesday, then I work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. A busy weekend next weekend, but I don't have any hangings, muggings, or major surgery scheduled, so I think I will just enjoy the experience of living for awhile, until the next crisis. *Looks skyward* Um, Lord, a little break would be nice!
